The 570S family is the most affordable way into a McLaren, which gives it a big pool of buyers who compare carefully. A car with warranty coverage and complete retailer history sells quickly. One without needs to be priced realistically and documented well.

This page covers the Sports Series. For other McLarens and the full comparison of ways to sell, see the main McLaren guide.

Which 570S do you have?

  • 570S Coupe

A 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 in a carbon fiber tub. Unlike the larger McLarens, it uses conventional anti-roll bars and adaptive dampers rather than hydraulic suspension.

    2017–2020

The touring version, with a side-opening glass hatch, extra luggage space and softer settings.

  • 570S Spider

    2018–2021

A retractable-hardtop version. Buyers check that the roof operates smoothly.

  • 600LT and 600LT Spider

    2019–2021

The lighter, more powerful Longtail, with top-exit exhausts. Carries a clear premium.

  • 620R

    2020–2021

A road-legal car developed from the 570S GT4 race car, limited to 350. Bought as a collectible.

Where to sell a 570S

  • 600LT, 600LT Spider and 620R

Auction, or a specialist in limited McLarens. Low miles and a strong spec drive competitive bidding.

Common questions

Is a 570S a good car to sell privately?

It can be, because the buyer pool is large. Expect buyers to ask about warranty and service history, and verify payment with their bank before releasing the car.

Is the 600LT worth much more than the 570S?

Yes, typically by a significant margin. It's lighter, more powerful and was built for a shorter period.

Does the 570S have hydraulic suspension like the 720S?

No. The Sports Series uses conventional anti-roll bars with adaptive dampers, which buyers often see as simpler to maintain.

Can I extend my 570S warranty before selling?

Often, if the car qualifies. A transferable extended warranty can make the car easier to sell. Get a quote and compare it with the difference it makes to offers.
